Some news about Karepa camp 2017, July 9.-17.
It was rather big camp this time, more than 120 people took part (some of them participated for some days) totally from 7 countries (Russia, Turkey, Sweden, USA, Japan, China and Estonia)
Program was really tough, except 5 renju tournaments was played 9 bigger mind games tournaments (within Pentathlon Estonian Championship for pairs and Pentamind Estonian QT to London MSO 2017), also a lot of smaller gomoku tournaments for beginners.
All results of biggest competitions are here - http://renju.net/media/tourninfo.php?tournament_id=1728
Most of renju games are input, but some we will input soon (internet connection in camp was broken sometimes).
Next year Karepa camp will held 3.-12.07.2018. If you want to be sure you can get place in houses (there is also possibility to overnight with tent), early registration is valuable. Because we expect even more participants.

Also we discussed a bit about future title competitions.
Seems Antalya (Turkey) can be candidate for Renju and Gomoku Youth WC (possible time beginning of September)
Looks like Sankt Petersburg is interested to organise Renju (and Gomoku?) Team WC (in usual time, end of April – beginning of May)
Tallinn, Estonia is thinking to candidate for organising Renju and Gomoku European Championship (around June 25.-July 1., so just before Karepa)

Good luck to everyone in Gomoku WC in Prague!

Friendly, Ants
